Catherine Harris is a writer and audio producer. Her obsession with cards kicked in during high school when she learned to play 500, a campus-wide competition that was eventually banned as students were skipping classes. She has gone on to write about bridge and other things, including penning the "Natty Newby" column for the ACBL Bridge Bulletin. Proudest bridge moment: winning the 0-50 strat with Jocelyn at their first ever tournament.
Jocelyn Startz is a lawyer in San Francisco. Much of her time in college was spent playing cards into the wee hours, but she did not learn bridge until later (it is doubtful she would have graduated otherwise). A native New Yorker, Jocelyn enjoys checking out the local bridge club when she travels. Proudest bridge moment: representing District 21 at the North American Pairs – twice (flight C both times, mind you).
